Juicebox Vol 1, Side B, Track 5: “The House Where We Grew Up” by Patrick McGlynn
The second artist in our weekly Juicebox series, Patrick McGlynn, is joined by Steve Werner to perform live at Zummo’s Cafe, a coffee house and eatery located in the Green Ridge section of Scranton.
Scranton-native singer-songwriter Patrick McGlynn draws influence from a wide variety of artists such as, Bruce Springsteen, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Jonathan Richman, Tom Petty, Talking Heads etc. The result is an Americana/Indie/Folk sound crafted over the past several years in the bars and clubs of the Northeast.
Zummo’s Cafe is known for providing a warm café ambiance in Scranton, serving Electric City Roasting’s finest on their Single Serve Brew Bar, along with exquisite cafe fare.
Juicebox is a new showcase series produced by Ionic Development highlighting Northeastern Pennsylvania’s musicians and the local businesses and venues that support them. Each month a different band performs a set of original songs for weekly release in a venue chosen to compliment or contrast the venue’s aesthetic and the artist’s musical profile.
